Angela Aitken, PT, DPT, BS Health Science
Angela is a Health Scientist, Natural Health Coach, Licensed Physical Therapist, and a long-time believer in the power of evidence-supported natural therapies and healthy lifestyle habits for preventive and restorative health without harmful medications or unnecessary surgeries and procedures.
She began her studies in Health Science with a focus on healthy lifestyle, nutrition, and movement, then went on to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She worked as an orthopedics and manual therapy specialist and has expanded her education and skillset in holistic nutrition, lifestyle medicine, medical missionary training, specialized women's health and abdominopelvic therapy, movement medicine, and natural methods such as herbals, food as medicine, and hydrotherapy.
For optimal health, the integrity of the tissues and synergy of all the systems working well together is vital, and she incorporates God's simple methods of healing through lifestyle, natural remedies, and nutrition into every plan for whole restorative health from the inside out.
While knowledge is important, healing comes from the Creator. And it is with prayer and gratitude that we apply these simple methods to prevent illness and injury and restore health, Lord-willing.
Angela and her husband have three children and live a life of DIY health, gardening, and home renovation projects in Ooltewah, TN.
